Karen Clever, PT, DPTKaren is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University, where she earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, and enjoys varied treatment disciplines and is always looking to expand her skills and knowledge. Karen’s education & clinical studies provided her with exposure to patients across the life span, as well as in a variety of treatment settings (outpatient clinics, hospital-based care, and home care). Physical Therapy is a second career, with her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester centered on social sciences. In additional to orthopedic based conditions and fitness initiative for all ages, Karen has a special interest in pediatric physical therapy and currently works with our pediatric team to provide school based services to the local schools MVPT is contracted with. Some of the common pediatric conditions she treats include torticollis, developmental delays, muscular dystrophy, hypotonia, hypertonia, cerebral palsy, and autism/PDD. She additionally accepts outpatient pediatric cases (for clients from birth to age 21) in our Bedford, Manchester and Nashua offices.
Outside the clinic, Karen and her family enjoy trying new foods by making new recipes, sharing dishes with friends, and trying new restaurants. While not native to New England, she and her family have visited many of the impressive sites the area has to offer with plans to continue exploring new destinations with every opportunity.

Marketing Director, Patient Care CoordinatorSandy is a graduate of the University of Maine, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Out of college, she worked for five years in a corporate fitness setting in Jacksonville, Florida. Since that time has worked exclusively in medical/physical therapy settings as an Exercise Physiologist including five years in west Texas. Sandy joined MVPT in 2003, initially working with patients on exercise programs under the guidance of the primary physical therapist, designing exercise programs for “graduated” PT patients, and also directed the Nashua-based small group aquatic exercise program. “Physical therapy is a team sport. Everyone at MVPT works together to bring out the best results for our patients. We want you to enjoy coming to our office, even if it isn’t for the most enjoyable of reasons.”
In 2016, Sandy was named Marketing Director & Patient Care Coordinator, both of which were new positions for MVPT. Sandy is responsible for making MVPT and the services we provide known, and sharing our patient successes with the medical community, as well as social media, website, and community based events and marketing. “We are incredibly fortunate at MVPT to be empowered to provide one-on-one care; managing each patient exactly as they need. We want our patients to realize, from their first interaction with us, that they are in excellent hands, and it is my job to be sure this is what happens for each and every patient that is entrusted to our care.”
If you have any questions for Sandy or have suggestions for our website or content for our social media pages, please email her at SRodrigue@mvptnh.com.
Cheryl BarlowCheryl joined our MVPT team in October 2017 when she hit the ground running and has seamlessly continued the exceptional MVPT customer service we strive for! “I love talking with our patients and learning about them, and especially listening to their stories. Working at MVPT has been a great opportunity to try something new and expand my horizons.”
Away from the office, Cheryl enjoys dragging her teenagers out of bed to hike with her and their dog (ok, maybe she doesn’t really enjoy the dragging out of bed part.) She also enjoys curling up with her cat and a good book, and is an active member of her church’s congregation, including ringing hand-bells and singing in the choir.
