Kevin Pozzi

Kevin has been practicing physical therapy for 18 years.  He earned a BS in athletic training, a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, his Doctor of Physical Therapy.  He is a graduate of the Jackson Clinics accredited Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency (2011) and earned his  board certification as an Orthopedic Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2012.  In 2016 was named the Chief Operating Officer at MVPT overseeing areas of quality, compliance, and program development.  Kevin is also certified by the NATA as a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Kevin is passionate about orthopedic-based physical therapy, helping others live their lives to the fullest, and has treated people of all ages and activity levels. Kevin utilizes many techniques when working with his clients, some of which include instrument assisted soft-tissue mobilization (IASTM), dry needling, and many cutting-edge techniques based on the every evolving physical therapy industry.

Kevin enjoys watching sports, playing guitar, and chasing after his three sons on a regular basis. You might also run into him around town performing free injury screens at local running stores or participating in local road races.

MVPT Physical Therapy-Portsmouth

Susan is a graduate of Simmons University (1985) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. After graduating, she worked as a physical therapist at Sports Medicine Portsmouth Orthopaedics for 14 years, where she acquired the responsibility of Co-Director and eventually Clinic Director. Sue also spent time at UNH pursuing athletic training, and in 1990 became a Certified Athletic Training covering local high school teams and athletic events. Additionally, Sue continued as adjunct faculty at UNH, where she was an assistant teacher in the athletic training department.

In 2002 Sue followed her passion and opened Abilities Physical Therapy & Wellness Center, establishing itself as a leader in physical therapy in the Portsmouth community. While managing all aspects of running a business and providing physical therapy care, Sue has prioritize continuing education including a Certification in Dry Needling and as a Certified Pilates Instructor.

In October 2020 Sue and her team joined the MVPT family, where she now functions as the Managing Partner at MVPT Physical Therapy Portsmouth.

Over the years, Sue has participated in three medical mission trips to Guayaquil, Ecuador with other medical staff at Portsmouth Hospital through a program known as “Annie’s Angels.” While abroad Sue performed physical therapy on patients who received total knee replacements through the program, providing them with the help and care they needed to get back on their feet. Outside of the clinic you can find Sue paddle boarding or on the tennis court or spending time with her husband, Richard, and her two daughters, Erica and Katherine.
