Casie Gayton, PT, DPT, PT, DPT, MS

Casie is a graduate of top ranked University of Delaware Physical Therapy with her doctorate in Physical Therapy and a master’s degree in Anatomy and Clinical Health Sciences. She was able to participate in research and present at conferences among some of the best orthopedic scientists in the country giving her great exposure and education to cutting edge treatments. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Sociology and Mathematics from SUNY Geneseo. While attending Geneseo, Casie played for the nationally ranked women’s lacrosse team.

Casie has experience working in a variety of settings from inpatient hospital care to orthopedics tosenior care. In addition to a wide range of orthopedic conditions, she is particularly interested in medically complex, older adult care, and working with people living with neurological conditions. She is a self-proclaimed “anatomy nerd” and is passionate about helping people understand what, why, and how physical therapy can help them so they can be a champion of their own health and care.

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Casie worked in many fields including research, corporate management, and education at the college level (she was a bit indecisive!) while proudly following her husband in the Marine Corps. She has enjoyed living and travelling to many places along the East Coast. Away from work, Casie is an avid skier and sailor, loves travelling both in and outside of the US, and can be seen often riding on her tandem bicycle with her husband.
