Telehealth Physical Therapy at MVPT
What is Telehealth?
Virtual visits are a one-on-one remote therapy visit with your physical therapist. The visits will last for approximately 30 minutes each, and you will be directly connected through video on your phone, tablet or computer. To assist with this connection, we will be using a program called PhysiApp , a dynamic exercise-based program that is available to you for free.
How does it work?
Have your computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device (anything with a camera) online and ready to use.
- Be sure you have a good internet connection and are in a well-lit space.
- Log into the PhysiApp account that your physical therapist has provided to you. You may need to enter your “unique program code” from you current exercise program. Don’t worry; your physical therapist will help you with this!
- If you have any equipment at home that you typically use for your exercises such as bands, weights, etc. if is helpful to have that near you during your session. Your physical therapist may have you perform your exercises, so try to set yourself up in an area that will allow you some room to move and change positionsnge positions.
What is PhysiApp?
To create your tailored exercise programs we use a brand new app made by Physitrack, called PhysiApp. PhysiApp lets you complete your prescribed exercise program by following crystal-clear, narrated exercise videos. PhysiApp is completely free to download from the App store and Google Play or can be accessed via your browser.
How do I download and use PhysiApp?
It’s easy! We’ve created a short guide on how to use PhysiApp.
